South Eastern Railway has released a Centralized Notification for Engagement of Act Apprentices for 2025-26. Eligible Indian nationals can apply for various apprentice trades in Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur, Ranchi & other divisions. The application process is completely online and will remain active from 18 November 2025 to 17 December 2025.
Candidates must have 10th Pass with 50% marks + ITI in the relevant trade to be eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass / Matriculation with minimum 50% marks (excluding additional subjects).
- ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwD: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Extra relaxation as per rules (Service period + 3 years)
Medical Fitness
Candidates must satisfy medical fitness standards as prescribed under the Apprentices Act 1961. Final selection is subject to medical examination by a Railway Medical Officer.
