Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Gujarat Refinery has published an official notification for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended).
A total of 566 Apprentice vacancies are available in various trades and disciplines. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the NAPS/NATS portal from 07 February 2026 to 20 February 2026.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the required qualification as on 31 January 2026.
- Attendant Operator / Boiler – B.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Industrial Chemistry)
- Fitter – Matric + ITI (Fitter)
- Technician Apprentice (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) – Diploma in relevant Engineering branch
- Secretarial Assistant – BA/B.Sc/B.Com
- Accountant – B.Com
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher) – Class 12 Pass
- Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate) – Class 12 + Skill Certificate (Domestic Data Entry Operator)
Minimum Marks:
- 50% for General/EWS
- 45% for SC/ST/PwBD
Only regular full-time courses are eligible.
Age Limit (As on 31/01/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (Additional relaxation as per rules)
Salary (Stipend)
Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL rules.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Merit List prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in qualifying examination.
- In case of tie, older candidate (DOB) will get preference.
- Document Verification.
- Pre-Engagement Medical Examination.
There will be No Written Exam.

- For Codes 104, 105, 106, 107 → Apply through NATS Portal
