Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Post Graduate Degree with minimum 55% marks in
- Geology OR
- Applied Geology
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering with minimum 55% marks
from a recognized university.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967)
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 37 years (as on 09/12/2025)
Age Relaxation
- Female (General): +5 years
- Reserved Category Male: +5 years
- Reserved Category Female: +10 years
- PwD (General): +10 years (max 45 years)
- PwD (Reserved): +15 to +20 years (max 45 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
Salary
As per Gujarat Government rules:
- Fixed Pay: ₹49,600 per month for first 5 years
- After 5 years: Level-7 Pay Matrix (₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600)

- Part B: 150 Marks
- Total: 210 Marks
- Negative Marking: 1/4 per wrong answer
